About Toolsy

Toolsy is a small collection of tools for the exact, unglamorous jobs that sit between planning something and shipping it: tagging a campaign link, checking what fits in an ad, seeing how a page will look in search results.

How the tools work

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. There is no upload step, no queue and no server that sees your data — the page arrives with the tool inside it, and the work happens on your own device.

That is a deliberate constraint rather than a technical shortcut. Marketing and content work involves customer lists, unreleased campaigns and client data, and none of it should have to pass through a stranger's server to have its characters counted.

What you will not find here

• Accounts. Nothing here needs to know who you are.
• A free tier that stops working after five uses.
• An email wall in front of the result.

How the site pays for itself

Toolsy is free and intends to stay that way. It is funded by advertising and by affiliate links to products we think are worth the money. Ads never sit above a tool or between you and a result, and an affiliate link is always marked as one.

Suggestions

Tools get built because someone needed them. If something is missing, or a tool gets a detail wrong, tell us — that is where most of this list came from.
