Merge PDF
Combine PDFs in the order you choose — without sending contracts to a stranger's server.
Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded or stored.
Files are read by your browser and never uploaded. That matters here more than usual — contracts, invoices and scans are exactly what people paste into free online mergers.
Add two or more PDFs. You can reorder them before merging.
What this tool does
It combines several PDFs into one file, in whatever order you arrange them, and hands the result straight back to you. No upload, no account, no watermark, no five-files-a-day limit.
Why local matters for this particular task
Look at what people actually merge: signed contracts, invoices for an accountant, scanned passports for a visa application, medical records, a bundle of evidence for a court filing. These are exactly the documents you would not email to a stranger — and yet the popular online mergers require uploading them to a server, where retention is governed by a policy nobody reads and a company you have never heard of.
Nothing here leaves the tab. That is not a promise about our conduct; it is a property of where the code runs.
Practical notes
Order is what you see. Files merge top to bottom in the list. New files are added at the end, so arrange everything after adding it.
Nothing is re-compressed. Pages are copied verbatim, which keeps text searchable and images sharp, and means the output is about as large as the inputs combined. If the result is too big for an email attachment, compress it as a separate step rather than expecting a merge to shrink it.
Encrypted files stop here. A password-protected PDF cannot be read without the password, and this tool does not try. Unlock it in your reader, save a copy, then merge.
Bookmarks and form fields. Page content survives; document-level extras — outlines, form field data, attachments — generally do not survive a merge in any tool. If the form matters, keep the original.
Questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF engine runs inside this page, so the files are read from your disk into your browser's memory and never transmitted. For the documents people usually merge — contracts, invoices, medical scans, passport copies for a visa application — that difference is the whole point.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied across intact, not re-rendered or re-compressed, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. The combined file is roughly the sum of the originals.
Can I change the order?
Yes, with the arrows next to each file. The merged document follows the order shown on screen, top to bottom. Adding a file always appends it to the end, so reorder after adding everything.
Why does my file say it cannot be read?
Almost always a password. An encrypted PDF has to be unlocked before anything can read its pages, and this tool does not attempt to break encryption. Open it in a reader, enter the password, and save an unprotected copy first.
Is there a size limit?
Only your device's memory. Everything happens locally, so there is no upload limit and no queue — but a few hundred megabytes at once will make a phone struggle where a laptop will not notice.
